Computers are available to students, residents, faculty, staff and visitors in the public area of the Library in Peoria. The Library Learning Lab is available 24/7 to students, residents, faculty and staff, using their UIC iCard.
Computers for students, faculty, residents and staff
UIC students, residents, faculty and staff can logon to computers in the Library Learning Lab and the Public Access area with their NetID and password.
Note: The Library Learning Lab is not available for general use when Lab is reserved for classes or testing. Scheduled times are posted outside of the Lab.
Computers for Visitors
A Guest computer is available to visitors in the Public Access area.
Report problems with equipment
Please inform the Library IT Tech (Karen Luna, Room A214D) or staff at the Circulation Desk of any problems with the computers, printers, or other technologies. Please do not attempt to fix the problem yourself.
i-Cards
- i-Cards provide 24/7 access to UIC students, residents, faculty and staff
- Students receive their i-Cards from Communication and Information Services (CIS) shortly after Orientation
- Residents should contact their Residency Coordinator to obtain an i-Card
- Replacement cards are available for a small fee from CIS
