Academic or administrative units that host visiting researchers need to assign them an active NetID to access library e-resources. The UIC Library does not control access to e-resources. To check out books, visiting researchers will need an active UIC iCard. Visitors without an iCard are welcome to use print materials without checking them out.

The Liaison Librarian for the unit is available to introduce visitors to library resources and services and provide research support during their time at UIC.
