Question

Reset your browser

Answer

You can "hard reset" your browser: clear caches and delete cookies.  Read on for more info.

A page isn't displaying right in my browser

(e.g., Apple Safari or Google Chrome). This can be due to a stale cache or cookie.

Sometimes browsers save old webpages. Even though the page has changed, you're still getting the old one. This is called a stale cache. Browser cookies can also become stale.

To fix this, you can "hard reset" your browser: basically delete old cache and cookies. This is generally a safe procedure, but note this will cause websites to forget about you. You may have to login again. Please review this blog post for more information.
