Question

Reset your browser

Answer

You can "hard reset" your browser: clear caches and delete cookies.  Read on for more info.

A page isn't displaying right in my browser

...e.g. Apple Safari or Google Chrome.  This can be due to a stale "cache" or "cookie".

Sometimes browsers save old webpages.  Even though the page has changed, you're still getting the old one.  This is called a stale "cache".  Browser "cookies" can also become stale.

To fix this, you can "hard reset" your browser: basically delete old cache and cookies.  This is generally a safe procedure, but note this will cause websites to forget about you: you may have to login again.  Please review this blog post for more information.
